I would like to get my triggers set close to the same pull weight. What meter should I purchase?
This is smart!I use Nalgene bottles and a modified coat hanger. Adjust the water in the bottle and weigh it on a known accurate shipping scale, then use it to test the trigger pull. I'm mostly trying for as close to 2 pounds as I can get without going under 2, so I use one bottle weighing 32 oz., another at 34 oz., and adjust the trigger(s) so that I can lift the one without firing, but the other fires it every time.
I have an older version of this. I have no complaints.the Lyman Digital has worked very well for me.

Dang, 50 lb., that's some trigger pull!https://www.cabelas.com/product/Rap...VDuDICh0eNwPnEAQYBCABEgLCaPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I already had it. It’s within an ounce.
Yeppers, I do. I just tie a loop of string that doesn't stretch around the trigger, attach the scale to the other end of the loop, have the wife hold the gun down, and watch the scale as I pull it until the trigger releases.Anyone ever use a digital fishing scale?
Post #17.Anyone ever use a digital fishing scale? Or a science class lab spring scale?
I see them on Amazon for around $7 so I figured I might be worth a shot
