Shopping for a 2 stage trigger and was pretty much resolved to buying a Timney Targa until I happened across Triggertech.

Pretty excited as the "Adaptable" model seems to be pretty much exactly what I was looking for in the first place. Also very pleasantly surprised to find a complete description of characteristics including take-up and reset.

Anyone have one and care to share thoughts or experience, it would be appreciated.

I put one in my 308 AR build and loved it so much I had to get another to put in my favorite AR15. The first stage is so light it just feels like take up, then it's a clean break from there. Absolutely recommend.

Awesome, thanks...
With much of everything sold online now, it was refreshing to see valuable specs in print. No matter what someone may be looking for, I don't know why so many don't readily include details critical to making an informed decision.

My PGW M15 XRS came from the factory with a TriggerTech Primary trigger. It has proven to be the best rifle trigger I have ever had. It's so good that I don't even consciously think about it when shooting long range, Highly recommended.

I have one in my shopping cart right now and I'm just mulling it over.
ETA: and I just "pulled the trigger".

Haven't shot with it yet, but super impressed so far. It's everything they claim and I love the adjustment. I can see dialing it down for reload/bench work or dialing it up a little for critter control duty. Soon as I get done buying stuff for my 6ARC upper project I'm going to get another one.

but super impressed so far
absolutely. I actually got the diamond series instead of the adaptable. That is a seriously light trigger with a very clean break. There's maybe a 1/16" travel in the first stage with a negligible pull weight of 1/4 lb. That may as well be zero pounds. Then you hit that 2nd stage wall and 1.5 lbs of pressure later, click. I don't notice any movement of the crosshairs when it clicks either. This is going to work real well for me I think.

I fabricated some stainless steel anti-rotation trigger pins for it too. That may be my only gripe is that it doesn't come with pins. I got this idea watching the master gunners rebuild 25 mm cannon receivers. They would wire all the bolts in place so they couldn't "walk out". I filed a couple of small diameter SS rods down to around .153" with a hand file and a drillpress and left a head on them so they wouldn't pull through the trigger/hammer pin holes and then drilled a 1/16" hole into the small ends of the pins and wired them up with some wire twister pliers.

I lucked out as I already had KNS anti-rotation pins in place to reuse. That safety wire is pretty cool, and if you find you want something more precise fit for pins, supply places like McMaster have .153 drill rod for like $4.
