I figured this would be the best place to make a post about this. A Little while back I purchased a Hungarian 43M rifle chambered in 8mm, but the pervious owner had replaced the military stock for a decent sporter stock. The barrel , receiver and sight have not been tampered with, besides the sight hood being removed. From some of the information I could dig up on these rifles mine would be a first year production, with all numbers matching on the metal components. I'm trying to find an original military stock for this rifle to semi restore to its original condition. any and all information would help to try and track a stock down.
