needs more ammo
This gun was always a shooter right out of the box.
When it had a 2-7x32 scope on it, back when it had the 22 inch barrel, it was even better at 50 yards. I don't think the red dot will even come close to what it did with the scope at 100 yards. That's okay, I could always re-scope it someday if needed.
