Uberti Cattleman screw backing out.

One trick I have found with loose screws is getting a tiny piece of rubber from a rubber band and putting it between the screw head and where the screw head contacts the frame. Tighten down the screw. It has worked for me to keep some 1911 grips tight.

Coming to this a little late but my Uberti clones get a bit of Loctite Purple 222 which is a low strength and can be applied without cleaning anything. It's designed for things that have to be taken apart frequently but can't come apart at the wrong time. Think avionics in a jet fighter. The other investment is in the hardened screw sets that places like VTI sell. The factory Uberti clone screws are put in by The Hulk and are soft as well. I've boogered my fair share. Add the proper screw driver bits and you're golden.
