Does anyone have experience with this product to fine tune the powder bar adjustment? I'm loading 44 mag, 10 MM, & 357 Sig

My instincts tell me that volumetric metering is tough to precisely fine tune, but I've been wrong before.

I would appreciate any experience you have with this type of product.

Thanks in advance.

I bought one for my Dillon 650. Before I needed to turn a little bolt. then I got the unique trek for loading .45 ACP

now it is 50 times easier to get to a specific charge - throw.

You spend time on the first day making a little excel sheet x-y graph . i.e. reading on the micrometer vs. charge.

Then just go to your desired charge and look up where the micrometer should be set, and set it.

I don't think the micrometer adjustment will allow repeatability will it. Probably get you close though.

If you just want want to lose the wrench, they make knobs that slip over the bolt heads.

Well, the threads are pretty fine on the micrometer. I believe I have observed repeatability. Doesn't matter if you approach the number CW or CCW. The charge is the same, within 0.1gr, as the last time that setting was used.

The only caution is that you don't want to try to "compress" a charge already in the measuring cavity. It won't make that charge weigh any less...

Notes:

1. I don't have enough data to confirm if the repeatability extends across different cans of powder.

2. I weigh a few charges when setting up, then do a charge weight check every box. Even with the micrometer.
