Upgraded my 10/22 - photos

I recently purchased a nice used 10/22 . Today I added a Volquartsen Target Hammer and Auto Bolt release. I only used the shims that came with the kit. All springs are factory originals. I am amazed with the improvement of the trigger pull. Feels like 2.5 lbs with a tiny take up. The Auto Bolt release is great too. Now I will scope this rifle and see how she shoots. I may add a sporter replacement barrel if the accuracy is not good. I also left the barrel band off.

that auto bolt release is great. i wonder why ruger didnt make it like that in the first place. you should get the extended magazine release,too,it makes a world of difference.....
