Perhaps cleaning was not sufficient and residual lube/grime is sticking to everything?
If surface has been sufficiently cleaned, once dry, it shouldn't be sticky.

....I too have to agree. While it may be minute, it still may cause harm to something down the road. I toss mine in the trash with the rest of the garbage.Why anyone would want to dump it (with all the lead and other toxins) in their yard or garden is beyond me.

No, it's clean. When damp it sticks but then once dry it's not heavy enough on its own to just fall.
Sure shake it, tap it, bang it--it falls. And then the static begins
Which is why I always use it outside.

I don't bother clean my dry media, it's cheap enough to replace after all.
All our trash is incinerated to make electricity so I just toss my used media in the trash. It'll burn and the scrubbers on the smoke stacks will keep the enviroment safe.

I’ll still use the stuff and have a couple of small unopened containers. Since I only use it after wet tumbling, it’ll last a long time, then into the trash it goes when dirty.
