With price put aside, I like all three on paper because they all:
1) are concealable but not truely compact
2) can be carried cocked and locked
3) have hi-caps or use thier 40S&W mags as hi-caps

The USPc and CZ compact have some type of aftermarket stuff (grips, sights, kydex holsters, etc.) where the Taurus just doesn't have anything.
And I'm looking for this to be the last ccw/range pistol I buy for a while. If there are others to throw in the pot please let me know.

I vote for the CZ. My CZ PCR is accurate, reliable, and just fits my hand like a glove. If I come across a good deal on a compact I may not be able to resist........tom

I personally sold my USPc for my CZ P-01, the P-01 fits my hand better, shoots great, and I am very happy with my decision. What I would recommend for you is to try both and see which one feels the best for you.

CZ - had a Compact, loved it, sold for baby food. Want another. USPs are not as durable as any other HK product for some reason - saw many fail on the range I worked at, including an on duty PD, who came in to shoot a little - every other round failed to fire.
Taurus has a great warranty, and good stuff, but the CZ just fits me to a t - shot 5 inch off hand at 25 yards. :)

I guess I'll be in the minority because I'd go w/ the USPc 9. I've got a few thousand rounds through mine w/ not a single hiccup...I've got a total of 4 USPs w/ more than 25k rounds totals through them w/o a single problem.

Another vote for the CZ PCR. They have a decocker and cannot be carried cocked and locked, but they are such fine guns and so comfortable to shoot.

I have shot a CZ75 full size and I liked it so I'm kind of veering towards the compact. Thanks for the input.

Ive owned two of the three and shot the other enough. Id take the CZ compact first. The Taurus is an excellent gun...plain excellent. But so is the USPc.............
I know your all shocked........:scrutiny:
Shoot well.

My choice is USP - if money is no object, it's the best (if it fits your hand).

If money is an object, the CZ is an exellent choice, and you may prefer its ergonomics.

The only Taurus worth owning is the 92 (Beretta copy). The rest, IMO, are crap.

I am an avowed SIG bigot, but I also have a CZ75 PCR that compares most favorably with my 228/225, bang for the buck, it's a no brainer. I also have USP45C that I like very well, but I have no experience with the 9mm version. Go for the CZ.

As opposed to Mike in VA I have just gone the other way. I had a P-01 and although it was a good dependable gun we never bonded. I now have a P228 and couldn't be happier, (wow I love the trigger on that thing). There are deals out thete on used 228's too, I just got one like new with a regular capacity mag for $375 from a dealer.

So, in a USPc 9mm, how many 9mm rounds can be stuffed into a .40 USPc magazine?

Is this legal?

Morgan,
Heres a pic of my crap Taurus PT911...it would out shoot the USPc 9mm we shot as a group on a regular basis. With anyone of 5 people shooting it.

My SigOphile cousin was impressed enough, he borrowed my PT and lent my his crappy Sig 229....and I finally got my gun back after 6 months....

While I highly respect all of the guns mentioned I dont agree with you at all........this and my PT940 were both absolutely flawless.

Not to bad for crap.........eh?

Respectfully :scrutiny: Shoot well

I like the USP 9c and the CZ compact; I would have a slight preference for the HK. In addition to these, I'd try a Sig P225 and / or a P228, and then make your choice. I have a P228, and recommend it highly.

Looks nice. Also looks like a compact version of the 92, the Beretta clone I stated I like (better than the Beretta). I should have clarified that the entire family of Beretta clone Tauri have my respect, while the polymer autos and all of their revolvers (save maybe the 85) have earned my distrust and disdain.

Actually the PT 911 design is a cross of Sig/Taurus/Beretta...notice the lockup is Sig style..it also has the "greatest safety in the world"' that only Taurus/Hk and a few others use..........
Shoot well.......I miss that gun ...sniff....

Yep, thats your opinion.

I absolutely adore my PT100 in .40 cal. Been good to me all these years. Not bad for crap huh.
