I bought paper USPSA targets. Staple them to used targets. Cheaper then the real cardboard targets. They are just about 25% of yhe price of cardboard.

It is the most cost effective route to go. Some instructors start with a clean cardboard target and glue on additional paper targets between techniques being instructed.
A bit more expensive than staples, but spray-on glue is fast and easy to use...especially when you're replacing 8-10 targets at a time

I'm gonna use these. Already use them on other paper targets over cardboard. Fast and easy.

It's been a while since I bought the paper USPSA targets. After I posted about them I looked it up and they are about 25% of the cost of cardboard. I usually start with putting up the used cardboard target and stapling a b-8? target and shoot some drills with it. Then put up the paper USPSA target. I'll tape holes for a while then eventually put up a fresh target.
The cost of USPSA targets went from about 50 cents to about 1.35 each delivered in the past couple years. So we had to raise our match fees to break even.
MGM had a good deal on them but stopped sometime last year. Shooters Connection and Target Barn are where we spend out money now.
