Hello.

look what i got for valentine's day........

an AK-Draco. it's a nice little AK...pistol. it's a little heavy for CCW but i just need to find the right holster, ... (joking...)

i think it's a great backup/hunting/camping/hiking/bear/tiger... even a big-foot gun , i'm very happy with it and the only thing i want to add it's a laser under the barrel so i can use the laser & and iron sights. i'm very confortable the 7.62x39, and for close distance is great. it balace well and the 30 round magazine are a plus if you encounter multiple treats.

i'm very happy with my gift let me know what you think.

So for VD you got an AK that is HC to be used as a CCW to go with your DOA pistol known for AD and ND JK

No no no, you need a 10 round mag for CCW.

They are cool and a great gun for bears ---- been looking for a bear here near the Chicagoland area ever since I got mine ---- I guess the other Draco owners already cleaned then critters out !!!!

I could only see that being useful with a big ole laser on the bottom so you can fire from the hip with some kind of accuracy

You might want to call Crossbread to see if they make a supertuck for the AK. Also, I'd recommend Meprolights.

I'd put the slim grips on it. Makes it easier to conceal.

There are a couple of guys on the forum who are especially good at melt-jobs. I think a partial melt-job could do wonders for conceilability...

On that note...is the compensator fixed, or can you substitute a different one such as a Krinkov?
