Ok so I fell in love with this gun, the only gun I liked better was the sig p229 but at 800$ its several hundred out of the range I wanted to spend and I still like the feel of the vektor better. The only concern I have is the lack of ability of spare parts. I know its based off (and an improved design on) the beretta 92, magazines are interchangeable but are any of the internals swapable? Anyone point me into the direction to find spare parts, locking blocks, springs, extractors?

You live where this South African manufactured pistol is popular? Ask the importer.
According to several sources a lot of basic parts.. magazines and such are fully compatible with the Beretta 92F.
One source in South Africa suggested:
Barrel, Locking Block, Recoil spring and guide rod, Mag release, Trigger (not the transfer bar), many springs, and Slide release are all 92F compatible.
Vektor sold off all their spares to another SA company, Nobleteq. http://www.nobleteq.com/default.asp?id=1 They still sell magazines but who knows if they still carry spares. They do have a contact point on their site.
