I am seeing everything for G17, but I want to do a G22 so I can then just get a G17 barrel for it.
Any vendors that have quality G22 slides and/or barrels?

What barrel then? Either way, my questions about vendors still applies...Shouldn’t really use a G17 barrel in a G22 slide FYI.
It’ll probably function but won’t be ideal. Get a G22 40/9 conversion barrel.
Yup, I'm aware of the [arts shortage & pricing nonsense. Just trying to get my ducks in a row for when I start this build.Yes, there are tons....but right now, supply is low (and prices are high) on all things Glock-style parts while we are in the midst of an 80% and 3D-printed frame frenzy.
Big Tex Ordnance is usually in supply:

Cheap aftermarket slides at Rock Slide USA:

Note: RSUSA has a bad reputation in the Glock builder circles for their vented slides breaking. I have several of their non-vented slides and they've worked fine for me)
With respect to barrels, if you want to run a 9mm barrel in a G22, you have to get a 9mm conversion barrel. The diameter of the hole in the front of the slide where the barrel pokes through is smaller on a G17 than on a G22...so a G17 barrel will fit, but it will be a sloppy fit that could cause problems while the slide is cycling.
If you end up running a G23 slide, the cheapest 9mm option is a S&W SW9 or SD9 barrel, which is essentially identical to a G23 barrel externally. I have used several SD9 barrels as "G23 9mm conversion barrels" and they work great.
