I stumbled upon a nice collection of vintage Smith and Wesson product catalogs at an estate sale. Its a well kept collection of catalogs from various years spanning from 1940 to the early 2000s. Not one for every year, there are some gaps. Probably 35-40 catalogs in total. All of the catalogs are in good condition, stored in plastic sleeves in 3 ring binders. There are also some dealer promotional sales items.

I will try to take a few pictures this evening, because I know everyone likes them. Looking through these old catalogs is a real treat, seeing all of the classic models, options, and prices.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the value of such a collection. I purchased it with the intent of reselling it, hoping it was worth a little more than what I paid for it.

Any input on values or a good place to sell them would would be appreciated.

Very cool stuff! I have a few those, mostly from the '70s and '80s. I especially like the older, vintage catalogs and the S&W Third Generation Pistols "Wheel of Fortune".

Ebay. Look up the prices on the sold items to get the current market value.

I believe Driftwood and I have a deal worked out. I'm sure he would be glad to share them with everyone here eventually. He is much better at photography and imparting wisdom than I am.

I only have two S&W semi-autos, a Model 39 and a Model 59. I doubt if I will actually need the wheel for anything. Did not even know such a thing existed.

I'm a revolver guy.

This is the revolver section of THR, isn't it?
