Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?

no 1%
undecided 0%

The wording of the poll is seriously flawed. The second amendment does NOT give individuals the right to bear arms. The right has always existed; the amendment is only there to prevent the government from infringing upon it.

Still Ahead

Either the anti's aren't voting or there are alot of pro-2A people reading USA Today.

98% still in favour of an individual right.

I agree with the OP, cutting and pasting the link into the browser's window is the best way to go to the web page. If you simply click on the link, then the http referrer will show as www.thehighroad.org. In plain English, that means that they can look in their control panel for their web site and that they have lots of traffic to this survey from a link on The High Road. If you just paste the link into the window and don't click it, they don't see that you came from the High Road. It helps to reduce our visibility somewhat to the corporate media, which is a good thing most times.

98% of 18174 people think the way we do.
other than the word "give" being used instead of "protect".
It's wording isn't perfect but I voted anyway,
I just wonder how these polls are interpreted buy the anti media

Since the Constitution doesn't give anyone any rights, the only correct answer is "no".

Go ahead and roll your eyes. Words mean things. Collectivist societies recognize no rights except those granted by the state. Of course I voted "yes" because I elected to infer the meaning of the question... but isn't that what the antis do when they misconstrue the 2A?

Either the anti's aren't voting or there are alot of pro-2A people reading USA Today.
The USA Today is news for illiterates. No one actually reads it.
