Walmart 9mm Blazer Brass & WWB? How much are you paying?

Blazer 9mm at $9.97 in one Walmart, $8.97 in another Walmart a few miles away. Both sold out within a day. Haven't seen Winnie white boxes but once in the last 8 months.

i purchased 2 hundred rounds of 9mm winchester white box for approx 37.00 last saturday. And to be honest, they all shot great in the glock 26.

I was really surprised to see it , these smaller stores don't generally have any of the ammo I need. I was thrilled.

Ditch Wal-Mart. They are anti-gun!!

I find it amusing that the "Anti -gun" wallyworld is the only place I can GET ammo at this point. I'm not going to turn my back on the ONLY in-town supplier who actually occasionally HAS the ammo I'm looking for, and haven't raised thier prices dramatically to capitalize on the appearent ammo shortage. I'm not going to pay double...plus shipping...to order some ammo online and get it in 3 months, when I can buy what I need at Walmart today, for basically the same price it was almost a year ago. For being anti-gun, they sure are providing a LOT of ammo to people who seemingly cannot get it elsewhere. I think thats a good thing, espeically since they aren't seeing just how much they can charge before people quit buying it, which seems to be common practice among other ammo retailers as of late. Its not my job to price other people's goods for them, and they have a right to sell it for whatever they can get for it. However, I'll stick to paying Walmart prices, because they are fair. Whats more "anti-gun"? Walmart selling ammo at pre-panic prices, or other retailers marking up their ammo to the point it can be two or three times the price Walmart sells it for? Making the shooting sports cost prohibitive for the average guy isn't exactly "pro-gun" either. Whatever Walmart's true position is, right now, they are providing goods few others can get/choose to offer at reasonable prices, instead of seeing just how much they can charge for every round of ammo sold. The same cannot be said for most ammo retailers at this point, making me question who is exactly anti-gun.

What has Wal-Mart said or done to make someone think that they are anti-gun?

I think it would be horrible if they stop carrying ammo.

Blazer Brass was $8.97/50 9mm fmj today at my local wallyworld.. (6 box limit)

Havent seen the WWB bulk boxes in quite some time, but last I saw it (probably Feb-March) was $19-n-change, for the 100 rd. bulk "Range/Target" 9mm WWB ammo..

Wonder what walmart pays for ammo from different manufacturers? If they lock in a price for along period of time they could continue to sell at what appears to be a great price, and look like heroes.
Wonder what the other big retailers of ammo are paying these days? It's always been my contention that the prices and supply of ammo is being affected by speculators and most of all by manufactures.
Reminds me of years ago whena certain motorcycle manufacturer caused a "shortage" on their bikes, and the prices went through the roof ( if you could even find one). Production went up but the prices didn't come down (maybe a little). Nowdays since they have sold a bike to anybody that wanted one, you can find a deal here or there.
Lower prices aren't gonna last at walmart forever, they'll still be the cheapest around but it won't be like the good old days.
