Walmart rifle closeouts

Took the 700 out yesterday and tested it, $199 is amazing deal, you if you got it for $80 well that's just incredible. Very nice rifle with smooth crisp trigger and scope isn't bad either at least for 100 yd shooting. Getting 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inch groups of 5 so far with bulk ammo so far winchester ammo did the best but that was shouldered with a rest , on a sled taking my movement out of the equation it would be much better I think.

Wish I would have got one or two more lol. Wish I could try different grain but finding 223 ammo is not easy right now. Still have to sight it in more shooting a little right of the bulls.

My Remington 700 223 really liked light bullets (40 grain) may be worth a try.

I found easy way to preserve rebate card values is add them to your Amazon account if you have one. My wife loves it, she goes to order something and it's "free"

Yeah I figured that it would be for a couple of boxes of ammo for each gun! If I can find it

Got mine in today! BTW -- it does not say Savage on the envelope. It's very plain white window envelope and can feel a card inside. They send a separate card and envelope for each gun, not one bigger value card.

Both mine came today. It’s not every day when you get two rifles and a scope for slightly over $200. The scope isn’t anything special but so far it’s held zero just fine on my .223.

I was thinking the same thing. Time to keep your eyes open.
Unfortunately couple things I want will never be at Walmart or or clearance.
Right now my quest is for a .22 Anschutz Sporter or Rem 541S

It does, but you have to use the right keywords… or at least it used to work. You would get squat with “Rifle” but you would hit gold with “Savage” or “Remington”

Everytime i use a upc search for firearms or ammo. It will not work. A upc for say a tv will work fine

I know. Then one has to deal with the pimply faced teenager who doesn't know a rifle from a shotgun And they probably have no idea about "clearance" pricing.

Not everyone is a gun person and if you already walk in with a mindset they are just a dumb Walmart worker then that’s why they are short with customers.

They won't be clearanced (if at all) until August or so. I doubt even then, as they probably won't be getting huge lots in like before. (Even last summer, we got a lot of rifles and shotguns in, but they mostly sold due to events.....)

Yes. It will show up like that. But once you click a upc to search. It will not work. No ammo or firearms. Everything else works

So i confirmed BS is not working with guns or ammo. I went to a local walmart and found 3 guns they had in stock. And BS still said there were no results in my area. But it works with everything none gun related. I wonder if they went the PC route.
