Walther P22, how to clean firing pin channel

I have a P22.

How do you clean the firing pin channel?

Get a can of GunScrubber spray or Auto Brake Cleaner and gofer it!

PS: Take the slide off first so you don't get it on the grip.

Yes, but it's not for the faint of heart.

Just blow it out with spray cleaner & re-oil.
That will work just fine.

To completely dissemble it, you have to drive out the roll pin that holds the steel breach block inside the Zinc slide.

Keeping the roll pin in place & tight is problematic to start with.
And gets worse after you take it out and put it back in a few times.

It's best left unmolested!
