Our family has a Walther PP .380 handgun with 1 magazine. I have tried to find another magazine with no luck .I was told that a PPK magazine would fit but it does not fit. Are there any reproduction magazines made to fit this gun? Any help would be appreciated . thank you!

Thank you for your response. Not all ppk magazines are the same. Some have the ridge running on the left side of the magazine. This magazine will not fit the PP. One of the magazines that was on the website you posted might work, such as the nickel magazine .Thank you for your help .

Either they gave you incorrect information, or incomplete information, or you misunderstood them.

No PPK magazine ever made will fit into a PP. What will work, if you can't locate a PP magazine, is a magazine labeled/marked as fitting a PPK/S

Just in case there is some OP confusion ...

There are 3 .380 Walther handguns involved: PP, PPK and the created-to-satisfy-US-law PPK/S

The PP & PPK/S share (fundamentally) the same frame (and, therefore, the same magazines) and the PPK & PPK/S, the barrel and slide assy.

Just in case ... :)

PP and PPK/S mags are the same size within the appropriate caliber. PPK mags are shorter and won't fit in PP and PPK/S pistols. The different calibers are shaped differently so as not to fit the wrong caliber gun and cause problems.

Genuine Walther and MecGar mags both work well in my Walther. Both are readily available and the MecGars are considerably cheaper.

The magazines for my 380 ACP PPK have a ridge in the side of the magazine. I'd guess the 380 ACP PP magazines would have the same ridge.

The magazines for my 32 ACP PP and PPK/s do not have the ridge.

As already said, magazines for the PPK will be too short for the PP or PPK/s.
