The case stemmed from Republican complaints that an estimated 13,000 people who apparently have died remain on voter registration lists, including 4,755 people who reportedly voted in last November's election.

The state registrar of vital statistics is required to provide counties with an annual list of all people over age 18 who have died, so the counties can remove those names from voter registration lists.

State officials say the annual lists of deaths from 1985 to 2003 are available, but last year's list remains incomplete and unverified. Deputy Attorney General Melissa Racsa said Joseph Komosinski, the registrar since 2003, "was unaware that this was one of his obligations."

Didn't think to wikipedia "registrar" I guess.

Mere tip of the iceberg.. I know nothing and know that NJ is too far gone to save from itself... Pay to play, corruption is the name of the game for many...

And of course, it brings up the eternal question: What round for zombie?

There was a Bob Hope video floating around a while ago, describing zombies as lurching about with blank eyes and no wills of their own, doing whatever they were told....the punchline of course, was, "You mean like...Democrats?"

This explains why the poll workers are unable to differentiate between normal NJ voters and the undead, and they both vote with careless abandon.

On Tuesday I plan to vote early and often.

Now I just have to decide who to vote for.

Jon Corzine – Democrat
Doug Forrester – Republican
Matt Thieke – Green Party
Jeff Pawlowski - Libertarian
Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion - Marijuana Party
Tino Rozzo - Socialist
Angela Lariscy - Socialist Workers
Wesley Bell - Independent
Hector Castillo – Independent
Michael Latigona - Independent

Except that zombies are on an eternal hunt for human brains, why would they be choosing Democrats?

Simple really, Democrat brains are rare and therefore a delicacy.
