Finished up my .300 Blackout assembly today. Will try and get some range time with it next week and post up a range report then.

Details,

Spikes Tactical Crusader lower, bought stripped.

Jard single stage trigger, set to about 2.5 pounds.

Fail Zero fully shrouded M-16 BCG.

Daniel Defense stock, pistol grip and front grip. (probably change out front grip when I find something that fits me better).
Had to modify the 'grip of shame' that DD sells to fit the lower that has a built in trigger guard. Not that hard to get looking good, little Dremel work cutting off the guard, then some JB weld to fill in the voids in the grip. Belt sander got the radius and angles looking correct. Some black touch up paint and it looks like it was made that way.

Single point sling attachment back plate.

16.1 inch heavy barrel, low pro gas block and a carbine length gas system.

Key Mod handguard.

YHM .30 muzzle brake with QD mount for suppressor.

Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24 scope with the illuminated reticle.

Accuwedge keeps the lower and upper fitting tight without any wobble.

Oversized magazine release, and oversized latch on charging handle.

May add a JP captured recoil spring once the can gets out of NFA jail. Going to wait and see how annoying it is first. Probably also change out the dust cover to one that has the caliber marked on it when I find one.

Since it is not for when SHTF or gong to be the primary homestead defense rifle I have no plans for adding irons at this time.

Also, put this modern sporting pistol together out of some spare parts, and a few new ones. Got to scrounge another box as I think I got a carry handle and a flip up front sight. Keeping everything kosher with the law as I wait on an SBR stamp to clear.

DPMS lower bought as a pistol. Yeah, years ago some dealers did not know to put 'other' on the paperwork. Still have the sales receipt where it states that. FFL is now dead for two years, so not too worried about him getting in trouble, LOL.

YHM break with the QD mount.

Adjustable gas block.

10.5 inch heavy barrel chambered in .223 Wylde.

Nickel Boron BCG

Carbine length gas system

Pistol cover for the buffer tube

Basic LPK parts, nothing special.
