Hello from Moxie.

I'm a new guy here. USAF vet, 23 years in weapons of all kinds. Vietnam '72-'73. Handgunner. Reloader. Scuba diver. Latest project is .45 AR for my S&W 625. Pretty good luck so far. I'm looking forward to sharing a little fiction and a lot of facts. Cheers!

Nose up, flaps down, wheels down & locked. Permission to come aboard, sir?

ker-thump!

Good to see so many familiar faces. Happy (and safe, healthy, properous, peaceful) New Year to all.

HELLO !

Was more of a lurker than a poster at TFL. Going to try to post here more often. Hope I can contribute something useful. I've been a competitive pistol shooter for about 14 years (IPSC, IDPA and a few things in between), shot a little high power rifle competition, I'm a NRA Instructor (Basic Pistol and Personel Protection) and have recently become interested in hunting.

how do you do that carrier landing stuff? I've been trying for days now on my new Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator WWII Pacific. Almost always get a wave-off, but I've caught the wire a few times. Ever try that game? Corsairs (F4U that is), Hellcats, Wildcats. Real cool!

Cannonball!

Well, I made it and am jumping in. Ya'll can grumble about it later...

Off to read some posts! :D

Hello all..........
Mostly lurked for info on TFL. I learned a lot. This looks like a great forum so far. I have posted quite a bit over on ar AK47.net, I have some experience with AK's, AR's, Kahr's, and CZ's.
I hope to learn a lot here and help some others along the way.

"Hello I must be going...."

Howdy! I love(d) TFL and I already feel that "Vibe" here on the HIGHROAD. I look forward to some laughs, a lot of learning, and a couple of scuffles: that's life, isn't it!

Hey, I made it!

Seems like I was just settling in at TFL and then there's a bugout.
A little late posting this but I just got my computer back together.
Thanks to Oleg, Runt and everyone else involved for keeping such a good thing going.

Bob

Hello. First I want to thank Oleg and everyone who worked to make this board possible. It great to have a place to go now that TFL is gone. Looking forward to making new friends and talking to new people(and old ones). If there is ever anything I can do to help make sure this forum is a success please ask.

You need to get yourself to a bar frequented by helicopter pilots. They practice that stuff quite often:D .

OK, we will probably get this thread locked but I HAVE to post in the first ever thread on THR :)
