I took last Friday off, so I had three mornings to go out and shoot.:D All told, I did 457 rounds in three days....fun!

The guns that went to the range:

Walther PPX-40 = 50 rounds
Ruger SR9-C = 65 round
Colt 1911-22 = 60 rounds
FNS-40 = 50 rounds
S&W AR-15 = 50 rounds
PSA AR-15 = 50 rounds
Remington 700 308 tactical = 20 rounds
Mini-14 = 42 rounds
Hi-Point 40 cal carbine = 70 rounds

That's 457 rounds! :D

Everything I fired were reloads, 155 grain and 8 grains Longshot for the 40 cal, 147 grain and 4.2 grains CFE-Pistol for the 9mm. The AR's I had loaded with 55 grain FMJ's and 25 grains of IMR-4895. The Mini-14 had 55 grain FMJ's over 25 grains of IMR-8208. The Remington 700 had factory Federal 149 grain FMJ's, a NATO load.

The pistols were fired at 15 yards and the rifles/carbine were fired at 50 yards, iron sights, with the exception of the Mini-14.

The small diamond targets, were shot with the Mini-14 at 50 yards, fmj fodder.

I'm envious of both your range time and toys. Been awhile since I've gotten out to shoot.

Am I the only one who think's it a bit silly to see a 1911 next to holes that small? Lol!

Congrats on your weekend.

The Colt 22 is a blast, pure fun to shoot. It weighs and feels just like a 45 cal 1911.

I did my AR-15 shooting off-hand, not from a rest.

Sounds like you had a great time though that's a lot of guns to clean! I much prefer just a few guns and more ammo per gun, but that's just me. Good that you had the time to get out on the range to get some shooting done.

I wanted to shoot everything, lol. So I broke it up into 3 seperate sessions of about an hour.

I can't spend 3 hours shooting in one session, I don't have the patience for it.

I know what you mean that's why I preload all of my mags and get everything ready to go so I can spend what little free time I have on just shooting.

Envious of your time at the range.

Its been a while since I've had a range day, but when I go (unlike you) I like to take off my watch and just spend time. I'm typically the slug seated next to some younger, speed-drills operative that's fighting off rabid bullseyes or targets that have been "zombie-ized" and need fending off in great numbers. :p

I shoot, look, shoot again. Watch someone else shoot, then shoot again, maybe.

Our county range has a fee for a certain number of hours, but I've not seen them push the time limit. It's a pretty good range for those who pay by the hour, but shoot like they're paying by the bullet. :D

Looks like you had a great time. I look forward to other range visits, once the sun moves enough so we don't bump our heads on it in the middle of the day! LOL!
