Does anyone know what these things are? I am very curious. Found them in a box of reloading stuff I picked up. They are two inches long or so.

Interesting! I have no idea, but I'm not afraid to guess. :)

Hand held neck sizing/flaring tools.

Use your micrometer and see what the diameter of the ends are (both ends of each).

The two larger ones correspond to the diameters of large primers and small primers. The smaller one I don't know. Flash hole maybe? Still if they are for primers, what do they do? They are not primer hole cleaners, cause they have nothing sharp to scrape with.

Diameters .078, .175, .210

Ah! Then those two might be primer pocket gauges. They could be used to determine if the pockets are still tight enough to use the case. The smaller one might be for a similar use on some special pockets. The gauges have the look of being homemade.

If the ends of each gauge are slightly different, I would guess that they are primer pocket go/no-go gauges. I wonder if the fact that there are 3 grooves on one end and 4 on the other for the two smaller "things" is significant. If the larger one had 3 and 4 grooves, it would lend credence to the go/no-go theory.

If they are for some type of primer check the largest looks like it might be for a shotgun 209 primer, they have that rounded edge.

I think ya'll have it. Primer pocket checkers. Small, Large, Shotgun.

Like Mal H said. Go/No go.

That seems plausible. A primer pocket gauge. That just leaves the small one. Could it be a flash hole gauge. The two larger ones are identical on both ends, but the smaller one is different.

.078/.085

That is way too small for any primer pocket I have ever seen.

Based on the checkering, I'd guess them to be made in the late 1950s/early 1960s by Herter's.

However, since they don't have the Herter's name prominently displayed, along with some great claim of them being the best in the world, maybe they were made/marketed by someone else. Maybe.
