What are your gun plans for 2016?

Want list for 2016:

S&W 929
Two Liberty Fat Boy safes
More handgun powder
A rediculous quantity of handgun bullets
Aimpoint red dot sight to install on a revolver
Colt 6920
A good quality .22LR bolt action repeater - most likely a CZ

There are other things, but these are the main priorities for now. The S&W 929 is a carry over from 2015. I would have had one by now, but other guns that were lower on the list came along a good prices so they got priority. I don"t make a lot of impulse firearms purchases; I have usually been wanting a particular firearm for at least 1-2 years before I buy.

Put ink on a lease in NH. Smell the freedom, buy a new gun and drop a striker for the first time in a few years. Smile, inhale the sweet, acrid smell of burnt powder, and wish well to the Commonwealth to the south.

I found an Ed Brown Kobra Carry Lightweight that I've really developed a longing for. I told myself that it's just too much to spend on a gun. However, since I told myself that, I've easily spent the same amount on several others (combined value). Next year, I'm going to save and get that gun. Maybe.

My plans are modest. fix my problem children!
Ejection problems on a mauser HS80, an FIE Titan II .22LR with extraction issues (nothing an 8 lb sledge cant fix, im starting to believe), a SA/DA romarm 380 that can only be used SAO without dropping its sear link, and a 9mm radom that needs grip screws.

My accountant has vowed to hamstring me if I buy any hardware besides pre-approved reload components

To continue accessorizing those guns I already have as needed. Scopes, mounts, slings etc... Probably sell off a couple select guns to fund some of these upgrades to others. Maybe get a quality spotting scope and possibly a gun or two (got a yen for an S&W 929). Hopefully get my reloading gear set up in my spare room (finally) and lastly, to spend far more time shooting than I have these past few years.

My gun plans for next year? The same as it is every year:

1) keep the ones I have already.
2) acquire more of them.

To finally get a good set of AR BUIS. Then round-out some needy magazine and ammo areas while prices are still sane.

If the situation permits, look into a stainless Ruger Bisley Blackhawk in .45 Colt as my first pure hobby/luxury
firearm; a wholly un-needed piece, to reload for ... and just enjoy the pants off of.

Can a fun M-4 (or forgery), somewhat used but reliable, be found for about $400 near Memphis? Iron sights only, and would prefer piston-operated, though very unlikely for the price.
Otherwise, a third SKS (must have a few real battle/camp scars) which is all-original with its blade bayonet.

Learn How to shoot a handgun.
Buy my first book written by Massad Ayoob. Even his very short Youtube video about knocks on your front door at 0200 is Very interesting.

Got a tacticaled up Ruger 10/22 in layaway I will get out in January. Otherwise my collection is pretty good unless something I don't have comes around. I am considering renewing my application with the CMP if US military 1911's become available, I would like to have one, otherwise, just buying ammo and reloading supplies.

Go to the range with some female coworkers who want to add a little something to their pocketbooks. And offer after-school training.

No new firearms in mind but that is subject to change. I'll concentrate on maintaining plenty of reloading supplies, maybe increasing them, and developing loads each gun prefers. That will be a lot of time at the reloading bench and the range. :)

Also, I have an old CVA Squirrel rifle kit from the 70s. Time to put it together and do some .32 caliber BP shooting. Some of those early CVA percussion guns were pretty accurate.

2016 plans

-Planning to get a Glock 40 by the end of the year and install some optics on it.
-If I can I'd like to get an older used Ruger or Smith in .38 or .357.
-Buy a brick or 2 of .22 lr if I come across any.

WHEN FUNDS ALLOW:

Colt 6720 + Aimpoint Pro
a 1911 of some sort
a .357 revolver of some sort
another G19

and of course ----more mags and ammo

Update:
Put money down on the Colt----now have 90 days to get her out of jail.

Shoot more.

Assemble the AR-15 parts I've got squirreled away.

Buy a couple caliber conversions for the Dillon 650.

I planned to finalize the NFA Trust by the end of 2015, but so far it doesn't look like that's going to happen (I am lazy), so earmarking that for 2016.
After that, I plan a suppressed .22LR bolt action and an SBR build (also potentially suppressed).
Also plan to refurbish/ceracote/paint the Mossberg 590 police trade-in I just got.

Got rid of my high capacity stuff, but I want enough eight cartridge 1911 magazines to preload 300 cartridges so that I can focus on shooting when I go to my favorite shooting range.

Id like......

Spare parts and a couple more mags.
New safe
Semi auto center fire rifle
20ga pump (and/or a semi shotgun)
Maybe a better holster for my BHP and some thinner grips
Maybe a couple of Buck Mark accessories
A couple of air gun items
Maybe get rid of a 22lr bolt rifle and a spare 10/22 (all though the spare 10/22 can also be "parts")
