My older brother dropped my Crimson Trace 5-25X50 scope on it's head, on concrete, attached to a rifle, a few months back, so I have been playing with it on and off ever since to test it. I recently shot it some more and it passed every test again, but I'm going to shoot in an NRL-22 match this Sunday, so I needed to put the Burris back on that rifle, and naturally I needed to check zero after remounting it. I ended up going .1 Mil left and .1 Mil up at the 50 yard zero in 64 degree weather this morning, I'll recheck that zero this afternoon in those temps which should be in the low 80s. It was about a half to a full bullet hole low this AM, so I expect it to be good then. We'll see. I also got velocity for ten rounds afterwards and updated my Kestrel, so now that gun profile has two temp/velocity inputs, which will let me let it calculate velocity for me as the temps go up all day Sunday. I like to have three temp/velocity inputs, but this gun/ammo combo is new. I really like my Crimson Trace
that I bought on sale 50% off, but I wish it had a zero stop. Not too bad though, because it can't go a full revolution below zero, so I can always find my zero.
