What do my fellow gun enthusiasts do for a living?

Retired farmer here. I just scanned through all the pages and was surprised at how few full time farmers or farm related occupations were posted. Looks like the majority are in some computer related job. kyfarmer
 
Architect at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in DC. I help design & build hospitals, clinics, and cemeterys all over the US for our vets, It's the best job I have ever had or hope to do.

Well.... my dad used to be a pastor. I was too and did construction. Some people came and sabotaged the church. we lost our jobs as pastors, I had a good construction career going. My dad couldn't find work. I changed the type of construction I did to suit a position for my father. Times are tough, work is slow, In huge debt, trying to support my own family and my parents.... very tired. Need to find something new pretty soon.
 
Auto mechanic i just fix broken stuff. I actually have done about everything cars all that that implies. Used to love them. Now just guns.
 
I am an aerospace electronics technician. I also own my own company on the side repairing musical equipment and hand building tube guitar amplifiers.
 
I always wanted to be a go getter ( take her to work in the morning and go get her in the afternoon), but she retired before I could . I am Auto Parts Salesman for a large auto parts wholesaler.
 
I spend all day browsing this site. Before I ran across it, I was an IT guy...guess I should consider doing some work next week. Nah, I think I will keep reading until May 1st.
 
There's a fascinating spread of careers listed here, and I was a little surprised by the number of IT types. Don't know if I should have been, but I was. <shrug>

My jobs path (still not in a career track, to my way of thinking) -
US Navy Reactor Operator '91-97, Control Room Operator at a civilian nuclear power plant '98-06, Plant Operator at a water-production plant '06-current.
 
Engineer/architect of embedded software in the computer storage industry.

Jazz, Beer, and Guns... Just can't decide which ORDER to put them in!
