What do you consider good accuracy?

Thanks for starting this thread. I am new to rifle shooting and have been fussing about my shooting capability and 63 year old M1 Garands as I had no concept of what I should expect.

Now I have a better idea of what is realistic.

I use an Outers-Score-Keeper-100-yard-rifle-precision-sighting-in-target. I get to shoot 3 shots at it free-standing or kneeling without a bench rest. The object is to score 30 out of 30 possible points. The best I have scored is 28 out of 30 so far, but the exercise is a great prelude to deer and elk season, and it lets me compete with myself to better the score. That makes it interesting and a lot of fun.
