Kinda of a noob here....any other good deals I should pick up from Powder Valley to save on the Hazmat fee.......I'm ordering some Accurate DP 85 for some 30-06 reloads........I'm mainly reloading 7.62 NATO and other Milsurp calibers such as .303 and 7.5 Swiss.

my cart currently contains some berger bullets and lapua brass, as well as 2 kegs of DP85 which I plan to use for 6mmXC.

i have high hopes for it. i just got a 4fps SD from the DP74 in 223rem last week. would be cool if 85 can do that too.

:( it's not there now, although you can find data for it in accurate's site in the DP section http://accuratepowder.com/datapowder.htm

i think i bought 32lb of each in this order: 2230c, DP74, DP73, but i shot half my 2230c and liked it so much i stopped and shot up the 73 (which i found to be extremely smelly), then finished off the 2230c and now i'm doing the 74. the 74 works, but it won't quite reach the velocity that 2230c would.

i could have sworn i bought some of the 68 too, but i flipped through my loading books and couldn't find any loads using that powder.

hello Taliv
Do you by chance have data for 2230S. I have an unopened 8 pounder, but have no data and it would speed up the testing when I get around to useing it. I am still shooting up the 32 pounds of SRB-118 I bought for blasting loads/rainy days in my Mini-14.

Oh well. I guess I'll stick to my time tested, tried and true, loads of Ramshot TAC. Works pretty darned good in my 223s.:(

walkalong, i have plenty of 2230c data, but never heard of 2230s. i googled it a bit and see a few people mentioning it, but nothing interesting.

all the datapowders i ever bought had 4 or 5 loads on the label. does 2230s not have any on the label?

never heard of SRB118 either.

stubbi, yeah, it kind of sucks. i've never tried TAC yet though. been meaning to. haven't heard anything bad about it.
