Hi...
Yesterday was Sunday so it was gun club day.
Did a lot if shooting...ran 20 rounds through each of the .357Magnum revolvers for a total of 160 rounds.
Then I switched over to .41 Magnum and shot twenty rounds each through all three revolvers.
Then I switched to my 1911 carry gun and ran a few magazines full of .45ACP through it.
Back to the revolvers in .45Colt...shot 20 rounds each through my Schofield and 1875 Remington clones. Never got the rest of the .45Colts out of the case although I think my son did shoot them.
Finished up the morning by shooting some full power handloads through my Dan Wesson and SBH .44Magnum revolvers. Twenty rounds each for a total of forty full power loads.
A really good morning ringing steel and turning big rocks into little rocks on the berm.
Speed drills with my two Colt Troopers in .357Magnum and my Model 57 in .41Magnum went really well at 7yds, 15yds and 25yds. No misses shooting as fast as I could get a sight picture.
After a lunch break, we went over to another gun club where we have memberships to shoot some rifles to test my son's reloads and sight his .25-06 in that he just put a new scope on.
He shot quite a few rounds over a couple or three hours with the aforementioned .25-06, a .270 and his .308. By the time he was finished he was pleased with most of his handloads and had the .25-06 dialed in at 100yds.
I had my Sako .243 along but by then I was getting weary and didn't think I would be able to accomplish what I planned to do, so I put that plan off to another day.
