I've let several slip through my fingers that I wish I still had.

Let a couple of like new 1903 A3 Springfields go, but those were fairly easy to replace several years later. I guess the worst mistake I've made was trading an original paratrooper M1 Carbine in excellent condition for a 1911A1, a can of .45 ACP ammo and a little boot. That one would be hard to replace today.

As far a handguns, I traded in a High Standard Mod. G >380 in like new condition on a S&W Chief's Special which I later sold for $35 (guns were a lot less expensive in the '50s :)). While searching for a picture I find they made less than 2000 of these and they are bringing up to $1800 today.:(

And then, there was that German Luger and a nice 12 ga. Ithaca 37 riot gun.........darn, this is getting depressing, lets hear about yours.

I stupidly traded off a mint 4" Colt Diamondback .38 and its .22 LR twin that I bought new years ago. Still have my original 6" Diamondback .22 that I bought new back in '79 or '80. Won't ever let that one get away, but it is almost too valuable to shoot. Also had a really nice stainless steel Ruger Speed Six in .38 Special that I let get away. Wish I still had it. Probably one of the strongest .38 Specials ever built.
And the Winchester Model 94 rifle in .44 Magnum, the beautiful Winchester XTR 94-22, and too many others. I have learned my lesson. Just keep what you have, and if necessary, buy another safe.

I learned early on that I shouldn’t sell guns. So I generally only sell what really doesn’t work for me.

That said I have sold and bought back a SIG P225 twice. I now kind of want a 225A1 even though it’s not the same.

I sold a Smith 627PC VComp because.....well “teh stoopid”

Other than those and this one is and odd one to regret as there is nothing to it but an original Glock 30. Not a 30sf, not a 30s and standard fat Gen 3 30. I miss that one for some reason.

I know I probably shouldn't miss it as much as I do but a Bersa Thunder 380 and a Taurus Judge are the two I wish I'd have hung onto.

I don’t miss many. One I do miss was a Remington 700 VSSF in .308 that I had accurized by Arnold Arms. I sold it to buy a .260 Rem. Had I known then what I know now, I’d have kept it and had it rebarreled.

As far as hand guns go, I had a 4-inch Taurus M44, blued, .44 mag that I sold before I got into reloading. Again, had I known then what I know now, I’d still have it.

Colt 6" Python if only because of the value they represent today.
H&R M1 Garand rebuilt by DGR, was having vision problems from cataracts and couldn't use the sights. Now that my eyes are fixed I want it back.

Stainless 10/22 synthetic stock with Simmons scope NDZ mount and some Kidd parts

Win 94 30-30 that my dad gave me for Christmas when I was 15. BUT - I got it back. ;)

Aside from that one, I don't lose any sleep over any gun I've sold. Only one that comes to mind is a stainless ruger .280 Rem, but that rifle had no soul so I had to let it go. LOL

I've traded and sold quite a few. Usually I don't have any problem with it.
However there are 2 that I wish I hadn't.
One was a Ruger GP100 and the other a Revelation .30-30 (made by Marlin).
Wish I still had those 2.

I feel your pain; been down that road, but I refused to part with my beloved M1, having been issued my first in 1954 and "owned" one ever since. Shot service rifle competition until I could no longer see the sights. It then languished in the safe until I could stand it no longer and devised a no-drill mount to replace the rear sight and found a short 3X scope to squeeze in aft of the magazine well and clear the clip as it ejected. Have enjoyed shooting my old friend and even took a coyote with it recently.

Just had cataract removed two weeks ago & can see pistol sights so have hope that I can even put the irons back on and shoot it as it was intended.

S&W 4506, Star Firestar in 40 cal, benelli super 90 12 ga, 1966 Oldsmobile 442,,, sorry, just went right into cars i should’ve never let go!

Mine would be an MAB GZ .22LR pistol -- a Walther PPK clone, Spanish-made for the French company...

This is a stock photo I pulled off of the Internet... The one I had was actually in MUCH better shape...

That little pistol was reliable as heck with virtually any .22LR ammo I put through it, and it was extremely accurate.

Awrgh... I just realized I'm in "Rifle Country" -- so I'll change my entry to a first-generation Mini-14... But that MAB is still the gun I most regret selling... :(

I had a Winchester 94-.22 XTR rifle that I miss. Really nice walnut and checkering. I never see them any more. All steel. Best .22 rifle ever.

I only regret selling the ones that I I had no purpose to sell.

So none of them.

All the guns I’ve sold I wanted gone to fund a new project or interest whether it was gun related or not.

To regret selling a gun you never used just because it became valuable years later is not, IMO, worthy of said regret.

Although this is in rifles, i very mildly regret trading my AMT Automag IV in 45 Win Mag for my 7.5" bbl. Ruger SRH in 480 Ruger.

I've let go of a Hi-Standard Victor w/ box and all original papers, two W. German PPK/S's, a bring back Luger, FN Hi-Power with nazi markings and a WWII Rem-Rand 1911, a no dash S&W 686, an original Dan Wesson revolver, and 2 Swedish Mausers, including a pristine M38.

Too depressing to think about.....

My new in box model 19 that I gave to my son for his birthday. He has never fired it. That revolver is made for shooting.

I once had a High Standard Victor Military model 22 that I used in Bulls eye shooting. I regret letting go of it to this day! I was getting thank you cards from the gun shop I sold it to for a few years. He knew he got a good deal..
