Well, when we were at the sporting goods store, she insisted that my 12 gauge didn't hurt her, it was just loud and she didn't like it.
So... I got me an H&R Survivor Shotgun and some .410's and colt 45's to go with it... if she's as good a natural shot as I think, she can shoot with the .410, if not, she can get some gun confidence first, then use my 12 gauge.
What I am thinking of though, is picking up some of Browning's "Little Skeeters" so I can size my 12 gauge guns down to 20 and 28 gauge. They don't sound great for frequent shooting, but sound just fine for what I'd use them for.
Oh yeah - and I'm also waiting on the H&R 10 gauge I asked the store to order in for me
