What handgun would you pick that is C & R eligible?

SO, if you had to pick any handgun from the C & R ranks, for a shooter with looks, what would you recommend? I can live with a pistol or revolver. I don't have much experience with older revolvers if you'd care to recommend one. For caliber I'd like to at least get above a .25.

Until I received my CZ-82, I would have opted for the CZ-52.
But the 82 has 12 rounds capacity, a decent trigger pull, is also
double action, has good sights, safety is where it needs to be,
magazine release ditto, and the 9x18 is a minor romper stomper.
Add in the extra magazine and holster for 200; and you have
a good C&R deal. Mine was proofed 89 by the way.

That's a tuff one. I think murderers, rapists, career criminals, drug dealers and people who scalp Indianapolis Colts tickets are eligible for a hangun.

Probably the best bargain out there now is the CZ82 in 9x18.

Loaded with good HPs/FMJ it's a decent carry caliber.

For $200 bucks it's a real deal. Most of the ones left though, are not excellent, but good-vg externally.

However, if you'll spend $30.00 more, you'll get a Grade 1 cleaned, tested and guaranteed at Dan's Sporting goods.

I've dealt with Dan before. A man of his word with excellent guns. I have no hesitation in giving Dan a strong +1.

I would recommend an East German or Soviet Makarov, decent caliber & very reliable. Also quite handsome I think!

i have a PA-63 i just picked up that thus far i am very happy with. those cz-82s though seem VERY tempting.

might have to be next on the list
