What have you done in the reloading room today

Finished printing the Lee Lead Hardness Tester stand.
Whoever designed it wasn't a genius.
The gear isn't splined on to the rod that turns it so it just freewheels.
It's still usefull the way it is.
Loaded a ladder of .223 to test in my HK SL8
IMR 4166 with Federal brass, CCI 400 and 77gr SMK's.
Annealed 40 338 Lapua cases.
I will do the other 40 tomorrow.
Have to get up early to go see a client 2 hours away.

I got the magnificent gift of BRASS in the mail today. @Soonerpesek sent me almost a thousand pcs of .38Spl nickel R-P, Western, W-W, and S&W mixed. Mostly R-P and Western, which is great for the Remington Golden Saber and Winchester HE bullets I have.

They are sorted into 50 rnd boxes by style and head stamp. They need to be sized, tumbled, and normalized (primer cups, length, rims, mouths) to fit my dies/loads. Then they will be sorted again by general condition.

I have been given the gift of something to keep my mind and hands busy. 😁🙏

Loaded another ladder for the HK SL8.
This time using Speer 52gr Varmint Hollowpoint bullets, Ramshot Tac, CCI 400 primers in Federal brass.
I've been having a hell of a time getting this rifle to shoot small groups.
Other people claim it's sub MOA or close to it.

I have to work on Saturday so I may try to sneak out early tomorrow and go shooting.

My walk in closet reloading room became a catch all for reloading supplies over the years. So I've been going through the stuff, and put a storage rack in there last night. Today I'll get it all organized and make room on my cluttered reloading bench the I'll have room to mount one of my Dillon 560 presses, I'll probably set it yo for 357 magnum.
I'm getting my grandson into Cowboy Action Shooting so he will need lots of 357mag ammo.
I did find some stuff I forgot I had, that's an added bonus.
I have to go meet a guy in three hours to pickup a Rcbs rebel press kit.

Reloading is addictive.
