What have you done in the reloading room today

Dagnabbit! Broke the decapping pin on my Lyman .38 sizing/decapping die. Dropped it and son of a gun if it didn’t land perfectly to break the pin and bend the stem. 🤬
I know a guy with a weird scar on his foot, coming from the combination of sandals & dropping the decap die… I personally would rather it break…

I sorted some brass. And put the tub of Winchester brass back on the shelf and got the federal one down…

The heck of it is I typically pull the decapping pins from all of my dies and decap using a Lee universal. I put the pins back in because I got in a hurry and was feeling just a little lazy.

Never break your routine! Especially not to get in a rush.

Had a casting session the other day and today after work, I'm getting them ready to load.
A little pan lubing this evening.

I de-primed 660 fired 10mm cases this morning and I also counted the 601 New 10mm cases using reloading blocks. I bought these 10mm cases from a seller in Pa.

I will start cleaning the cases tonight and then resize the new and cleaned once fired cases over the next few days on my MEC Marksman.

I did checkout the firing pin strikes on the once fired primers, and they did indicate that there were several different pistols that fired this 10mm brass. I hope none of them were a Glock or Colt.

I am waiting for Lee to polish the carbide ring in my crimp die that I returned to them. When get it back I plan to reload some of these cases.

I managed to 150 of the 200 45 ACP loaded.
I'll finish the rest in the morning.

One can see in the above picture that the upper block has 1/4 - 20 nuts in it.
Had to do this to facilitate my loading process.
Cases with powder were too low to grasp safely so I staged them in there to place the 230 grain FMJ RN bullets on before seating.

Another reason (excuse) to make another loading block for those short, fat little guys. :)
