What is the most recent knife you bought?

Client gave me this the other day. I have no idea who made it or what the wood is but I love it. Looks like a Swiss army cross on it. Who knows the maker?

Here’s a new Swiss Army Hiker model I just got, with a closeup of their logo.

The large knife blade says “Victorinox, Made in Switzerland, stainless”.

Yours is a nice looking knife, but not sure it’s a SAK.

Yeah I looked through the Victorinox website, blade websites and amazon could not find it. And he said he ordered another one.
Look closely the Victorinox shield is different curved at top and a squiggle at the bottom.
For some reason I can't get ahold of him. Maybe traveling.
I think the wood is Olive. knife from phil.jpg

A new SAK - Victorinox Officer with black scales.
Neat little knife!

I have (arguably) too many knives as it is, but I had room for this one...

I found the logo. It's a Grand Way. I've never heard of them. Anybody? Found some on Amazon but not this one. https://gwknives.com/collections/knives

It's a Grand Way.

About a thousand pounds! Badda CHING!

The Grand Way knives are manufactured by a company based in the city of Charkov in the north-east part of Ukraine, near the border with Russia. The low end knives are certainly rebranded cheap Chinese and Pakistani stuff. They have nicer looking knives like this as well that may be rebranded better Chinese or even Ukrainian.

Thank you sir!
It's a great looking knife. I'd hope it's made in Ukraine. If I could make certain I would support them and their difficult time.

This looks the same or similar to yours.

The knife on the top is my Victorinox Trekker which really has become one of my favorite field knives. Since I always carry a multi-tool with me anyway it seems like a little much for carrying in the city.

So, I picked up this Victorinox Sentinel (bottom). Which is really the only planned knife purchase I have for 2023. For whatever it's worth I now have seven different pocket knives so I have a different one for every day.

Honestly the Victorinox knives (At least these two) are the only left-handed friendly liner locks that I've ever seen and they're the only liner lock knives I would ever trust.
