What is the most recent knife you bought?

A Flat Rock Saluda - simply beautiful

Me too.

Benchmade Bugout Mini for $115.
At 1.50 oz. it’s my favorite EDC.

I've been enjoying my second-to-last purchase which is an Opinel No. 8. Carried it daily now since 2019. It's stainless, but is remarkably easy to sharpen with just a steel.

I carry a #6 quite often, its the carbon blade and has developed a nice patina.

Did you get the walnut handle like the one pictured? I have a couple of olive ones but was curious how the walnut is in person.

Yes. I like the walnut. I have some beech, and I've bought oak for a gift. There are some very beautiful ones like this:

but their costliness injures the value proposition of these ordinarily thrifty knives. I paid $24 for the walnut and oak, whereas the beech have been under $20 even lately (for No. 8 size).

Here's the five latest.

Clockwise from top:
1. MKM TPF in MagnaCut and red Dark Matter FatCarbon scales. This is a Bob Terzuola design.
2. Bladeforums 2023 Forum Knife, a GEC 34 humpback whittler in 1095 and autumn jigged bone.
3. GEC/Tidioute 56 reverse dogleg jack in 1095 and natural linen micarta.
4. Hinderer Jurassic in stonewash MagnaCut with jade G10 handle scale and battle bronze anodized titanium handle.
5. Chaves TAK in M390 and green linen micarta. Not ordinarily my thing, but has a great action and was a prize from the Knife Rights raffle this year.

The jade G10 is great looking!

I went on a buying spree last week and bought:

Cold Steel SRK
Buck 119 (D2 steel w/ Cocobolo grip)
Buck 684 Bucklite Max II Small
Boker Magnum Advance Pro

Also a kitchen knife block set from Cold Steel and a Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener Mk II

Next up on my list is a Buck 685 Pursuit Large. Think I'll be done for awhile after that, haha.

I recently received my latest order from Blade HQ.
My new Kershaw AGILE is unopened still and may become a Christmas gift. I am always interested multi-tasking gear. The Agile has interchangeable backstraps that have a bottle opener, or screwdriver, or lanyard hole.
The two Morakniv are a steal at $13 each. FYI the plastic Mora sheath slides down in the MOLLE attachment points on my backpack. The belt clip on the sheath clips right in like it was made for it.
