What is the "ONE" gun you won't let go

My grandfather bought an 870 Wingmaster when I was born. Kept the dated receipt in the manual and everything. I inherited it upon his passing last year. No way I could ever let it go.

Sentimental favorite - my 870 pump. It's the first gun I ever owned and the one that got me into hunting. I've taken all manner of game with it and it's almost an extension of me now...it's effortless to carry, point, and shoot.

If I had to pick another it would be my S&W Model 29, .44 magnum. It's really a pretty gun and I love shooting it.

Most everything else I have could come or go I guess.

Of the Hundreds of guns i have owned in my 72 years it would have to be my model 75 Winchester, second would be my McCoy M1 Garand, third would be my AR10 308 by Noveske. all are very accurate. the model 75 is actually a composite of three that i had years ago. i took all the best parts and assembled the one i have. with Ely tenex it still puts them all in the same hole at 50 yds.

My CZ P-01. It's the perfect blend of power, capacity and concealability. Plus it fits my hand like a glove.

I have rifles, shotguns and pistols. If for some reason I had to sell them, the P-01 is the one that won't leave.

Well aside from the family owned guns, as I have a few and theyre never leaving me no matter how hard up things get,

My original IMI Jericho 941, it holds more than enough in one mag, it's boringly accurate, I've wasted more targets because the center only was blown out, and it feels incredible in the hand, I'm absolutely in love

My 1894 Krag my grandfather gave me years ago. Killed the biggest buck of my life with it in 1994 whan the gun was 100 yrs old. Not getting rid of this gun..ever..

1982 Sig P220 in 9mm. Born the same year I was, and the 220 platform makes me look like a better shooter than I really am.

It's a toss up for me between my CZ-75B Military, the first gun I bought and the pistol I shoot the best, and the Mossberg bolt action .410 that was my Grandfather's. The edge would most likely go toward the Mossberg, as they are still making CZs, my Grandfather isn't around anymore.

Pistol: SIG P228 (triple matching serial numbers, German made)- SD, HD, CC, hi cap, range practice, and a true classic

Rifle: Marlin 1894C, .357magnum - HD, hunt, range practice, a true classic

Both are barely replaceable and both are very versitile, filling a wider range of requirements that most other arms.

For fondness/sentimentality/and appreciation of it's flawless service, it would be my Kahr/Auto Ordinance 1911 Thompson Custom:

It even bumps my Colt Officers ACP off the list.

But thinking on it, for the broadest possible of uses, I might actually go with the SUB2000:

seriously- while not as easily concealable or handy as a pistol, it could be pressed into such a role, and while not having the range of a rifle, it's better than a pistol when you get out past close range. 9mm is the next cheapest, common est round after .22lr, and a bit more comforting in the terminal ballistics department.

One gun? 1958 Savage 24 22-410, bought new from Stoeger's, by mail, when I was 16. Believe I probably forged a parents' signature to have it mailed to me.

Then if I could keep a second one, it would be my S&W Mdl 18. Good companion gun to the 24, so says me (or maybe one of the other 5 .22 handguns).

My grandpa's 12-gauge double Ithaca doesn't count, does it? It's a wall-hanger (although it could be used in a pinch).

Not one pistol nor rifle! Our forefathers saw the light of giving up even one liberty, and wow have we made them roll over. Our 2nd amendment right is all the we the people have between a free America and what we are racing towards. Keep them all , there very well might come the day you can't buy them, or Heaven help us we truley need them. God Bless America! Happy Easter!

I was out of context when I posted! I stated " Not one pistol nor rifle" I wouldn't give up any! I would keep them all! Fixed that mess! Whew!
