SCAR 16. The muzzle brake is the reason.
Mine too, but mine has a Saker three chamber brake on it. Rattles your teeth outdoors and is downright unpleasant indoors.SCAR 16. The muzzle brake is the reason.
Thanks, unc!The 38 special Colt Officers Model, left to me as a gift from my uncle, he shot the round about 4" from my right ear, I wasn't wearing ear protection and it ruptured my ear drum and took about 99 % hearing out of that ear. It felt like someone drove an icepick into my ear, dropped me to my knees, had vertigo that still bothers me today along with tinnitus.
I know the feeling of how the body reacts to a horrific noise. I shot Howitzers in the Army. The noise makes you want to crawl out of your skin. Probably why I have no interest in a 357. Hearing is bad enough as it is.
buffalo horn.I would have to say an 8mm Mauser with surplus ammo. Plus, I think the buttstock is actually a mule's hoof.
S&W 460XVR is my loudest.
I can agree fully on the open guns! I shoot limited but often squadded with open shooters. If you shoot a compensated “open” pistol with major loads, from “retention” it will knock the hat off your head...
