47 here, and will have 2 grandsons by Feb. My wife who has been cutting my hair for 23 yrs (high/tight flat top) says she cant "cut the grey out" anymore.

I'm 23 and love all firearms... I love the stuff that has historical significance(I love 1911s for that reason, I hope to be able to afford an actual wartime issued M1911 and M1911A1 one day), but can appreciate and like the different advances in technology such as polymer pistols and super-lightweight alloys being used. I'm an automotive technician so naturally I like to know how things work.

"The USA will be just fine if parents will just raise there children in a Christian home with God at the center of their lives."

+1 to what knockdownpower said.

23 here. Wasn't raised in a pro-gun household(wasn't anti-gun either it was just no gun). I was always interested in guns and would always say I was going to buy one but then I would end up spending my money on something else and pushing it back. Took the plunge a while back and there is no signs of slowing down. 2A for life:)

I'm actually surprised at the age distribution on here. Didn't know old people could use the internet ;)

16 here, beard and crown currently graying.
Maybe it's a sign of a genetic trend towards favoring older guns, especially the hand-me-downs. I love any .22 lever rifle that shoots straight, and a good .357 magnum.
Not to say I don't enjoy drooling over those guns frowned upon in my household for the reason of having little to no hunting capabilities. Although it is my personal opinion that a PS90 would make a great squirrel gun. Joking

21 and have been shooting since I was 9:D
I am really surprized at the spread of the members on this forum! Thats probably why THR is such a good place to be!

Im seventy six old and I wont a new 17 Hornet and a new 5.7 x28 MM rifles befor my next birthday..Better yet, befor spring prairie dog shooting. I was given my first rifle, a slide action 22 RF in the spring of 1949. Purchased my first center fire rifle, a Win Mdl 70 270 in 1952.. I started reloading 270 Win ammo in 1953 and still reload for my varnint rifles that are prairie dog rifles.

69. Been shooting since 1954. I like all things that launch bullets, doesn't matter whether it's wood and steel or plastic and something else. I just picked up a Stag M16 this afternoon. It's nesting next to my '03 Springfield. I ain't all that much old fogey either, I've got over 100,000 miles on my '01 Goldwing and can program in C++, so there, you young whippersnappers.

Jim Conrad here, at the ripe old age of 28 or 29, i will check my dl later to be sure. I like old stuff and some new stuff. Dont need a judge or gov. really need a mod. 71 winchester as well as a westerner .264. i have a couple of ar-15's one in .221 fireball and prefer long tubes with triangle hand guards. despise new small pocket autos but have an xd .45. What does program in c++ mean? barry goldwater for president

56, going on 19. Interesting breakdown on the poll so far. Highest number of respondents in the 18 to 24 range, but the next biggest group 55 to 59. Hmmm.

23 i think i stopped counting, I had always been into guns bb, pellet, paintball but didnt take a plunge with actual weapons till i was 22, now im addicted lol

42 here. Life has been nuts for about a year or two, haven't been on the forums much. Glad to see there's alot of activity here !

I'll be 23 in Jan. My goal is that by the time i'm 30 I will have double my age in guns, and will keep that percentage the rest of my life hopefully.

By the way I like all guns, if it goes bang I wanna shoot it.

Well after 678 votes, I am genuinely surprised at the turnout and the results. You guys are awesome :D

To those of you who feel it rude to ask someone's age this poll is anonymous and does not require anything more than a vote.
Now I was taught, that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. ;)

Soon to be 42, love polymer handguns as well as wood and steel. I own one type of handgun and practice with it exclusively for the sake of consistency. I have fired just about every handgun that has captured my attention so owning others just doesnt interest me after 20 plus years of shooting.
