I *am* a weapon ;-)

I carry-

At least two Fischer Space Pen (one in my pocket, one on Keychain)

Wallet, Android Phone.

Streamlight AAA penlight (pocket), Streamlight Nano (keychain)

CRKT M-16z (plain edge) (in VA & NYS) SOG Auto-Tac (in FL) Spyderco Bob Terzuola Carbon Fiber Plain Edge Knife (in NYC).

Tiny Leatherman (on keychain)

SS 1911 (AO Thompson TC) + spare 10 round Mag (weekends), Officers ACP + spare 6 Round Mag (Weekdays)

Pack o' Smokes, and 2 zippo lighters (they don't float)

2 Medium sized Safety pins, 2-3 pony-tail type rubberbands, and a bootlace.

A microfiber Eyeglass Cloth.

Pockets:

Front left: Samsung Galaxy S2

Front right:
4gb/8gb USB flash (work/personal)
small comb
CRKT Ignitor Assisted-opener knife
Some sort of generic pen (I lose them easy)

Back right: Usually a notepad or planner, but I've since stopped carrying this

Back Left: Wallet

At 3:30 is my CZ75B in an Israeli leather IWB holster.

Keys are on a carabiner on front left loop.

I'm 160lbs and 170 'fully loaded' :p

Walther PPK in an Executive shoulder holster and a wallet. No flashlight, or knives, or Leatherman, or cell phone.

Spent money on training (up through classes with the word "Advanced" in the titles) and practice sessions. Learned how to make being in "Condition Yellow" a way to experience people expressing who they are and to appreciate what's going on around me.

Limited my carry platform to one type, in my case, 1911's. Commander length 1911 10mm in a Brigade M-11 IWB holster. Second magazine in my offside rear pocket. Sometimes add two mags in a belt mag holder. Bought a Leatherman Juice XE6 for camping, but it's now part of my EDC. Small and very useful.

My general EDC is

Kimber Tac Pro II 1911 in a Milt Sparks VM-2
2 spare 8 round mags in HBE dual mag pouch
Droid RAZR in otterbox
Wallet
Keys
Trying to keep a flashlight with me a lot more often.
Sometimes carry an LCP in left front pocket or coat pocket.

98% of the time my go to carry is my TCP IWB at 1:00. you hardly notice it. If im going on a drive and not really going to be out of my truck but for a bit, i'll carry my 357 snub. sometimes, i'll carry a spare mag for the 380.

*waiting for taurus hate* my tcp has been a great little gun. about 1,200 rounds through it with only one issue which was from my first set of reloads where I had roll crimped a lead boolit and there were headspace issues leading to a light primer strike.

Keltec PF9 with a reload.

Cold Steel Recon 1.

Leatherman Kick.

Streamlight Stylus Pro.

Wallet and keys.

My tool set is in a state of flux, as health issues affect my formerly stronger hand, and my eyesight changes. Lights are certainly becoming more important. Since the late 1980s, I have tended to carry the same primary handgun, on the clock, working police patrol, and concealed on my own time, but I have started carrying more orthopedic/geezer guns on my own time. It remains to be seen how this will settle; I carry a P229R DAK, .40, at work, but like to tote an all-steel Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special on my own time, for now. The heavier 1911, with the mellower-recoiling .45 ACP, and lighter single-action trigger, is less aggravating to shoot, so I train more with it. (Edited to add: Moreover, I have a .22 LR conversion unit for my 1911, with which I can train painlessly; I do not yet have such a unit for my SIG. Training leads to familiarity, which leads to more confidence. If it looks like I will continue policin' for more than just another year or two, and cannot succeed in being allowed to switch to a milder duty cartridge, I may well spend the money for a SIG .22 upper unit for my P229.)

The only constants, that have not changed at all since about 2004, are a Tarani Masters Model Karambit folder, and a Ruger SP101. It is normal for me to carry more than one handgun, and it is rare for one not to be an SP101.

In addition to the Karambit, I tend to carry one of several Spyderco blades for utility. I am probably about to revert to carrying one of my fixed-blade knives, but have not yet decided which one.

Lights are usually LX2 or M2 Centurion Surefires. I had a Surefire Backup that I found very useful, but it seems to have recently gone astray.

Mobile phone: Casio GZOne Brigade, times two. I dislike texting, but when it becomes necessary, I like the QWERTY keyboard, and this is a tough, water-resistant phone. While a bit large, this is OK with me, as I tend to lose smaller phones.

My wallet is a small, thin plastice Jimi wallet, which holds minor cards. My police ID, driver's license, health insurance card, and one "primary" credit card are carried in a holder on a ball chain, usually around my neck, concealed. I do not see a brand name on the ID holder; it has a leather-like rear and clear plastic front. Notably, I do NOT carry my whole life with me in the wallet and ID holder. I am often amazed, when taking info for a police report, how much some folks carry in their wallets, and subsequently lose so very much when it is lost or stolen.

Yes, but the boys down in the Tech Division give me something new every episode, those aren't really EDC. The laser, btw, had terrible "one-shot" stop stats. I can't recommend it. They kept saying "One shot stop? Just keep the damn thing on!" and the pens kept blowing up in the clothes dryer!

It's a very comfortable and concealable rig, even in a suit (or tux).

Glock 26 9mm- Galco summer comfort IWB
Beretta tomcat .32acp or NAA mini .22mag- left front pocket
CRKT M21 & Surefire E2- Right front pocket
Wallet- Right back pocket
Extra mag(17 rd.)- Left side
Keys, watch & Ring, cell phone, and Costa's

Sometimes one of these- Glock 17/Sig p226/1911 in Galco sholder rig if I can dress for it, or if going out of town.

Wife carries S&W 638 with CTC laser grips & a Taurus judge in the console of the suburban. (My dream girl):D

Everyday you can count on me carrying:
Benchmade 710 and/or Laguiole midsize with Snake Wood panels (when i am at work)
Wallet with CCW
Phone
Belt

Most days I add:
Flashlight
Sig P226 ST (soon to be replaced by P239 standard)
550 Cord

In right pocket:
Kel Tec P3AT .380 in a pocket holster
An ink pen or two

In left pocket:
Money clip with all the cards, IDs and whatnot
I-phone
Car keys
Loose change

Rolex on the wrist

I don't usually carry knives or multi-tools... I am usually in a suit, so I am generally limited to what I can carry in my pockets. Stuff needs to be easily removable in the car for going in courthouses that have metal detectors, so no stuff attached to the belt.

I'm curious as to why you don't carry a cell phone.

Was gonna ask the same thing. Even if you don't care about being able to be reached, a cell phone is vital. You can buy an old cheap one, and not even pay for service. Even without service it will make emergency calls, and all you have to do is keep it charged.

I keep an old smartphone in my car for this exact reason.
Plugged into a charger in the glove box that shuts off when the car is off (saves batt).

Always charged, ready for an emergency call.

Just a bad habit. After a while I realized that someone always has a cell phone. I realized I no longer needed one because everyone on the planet has one. I also am not allowed to have a cell phone at work, it is an offense that could get you fired for the first offense, so I've hardly ever carried one.

On occasion when I'm out running around alone I will sometimes pack one, but it's very rare.
