What Kind'a Gun Related Items Did Santa Bring You For Christmas 2005?

I guess you could say I bought myself a GP-100 4" for Christmas, as I picked it up on the 20th...

Santa brought me 500 rounds of .38 special, a speed loader, and some snap caps... oh yes, and a Kleen Bore "gun sock!"
 
Got a box of Aguila IQ 45ACP from a friend and a gift certificate from Dick's sporting goods that'll probably go toward a Mossberg 590 I've had my eye on.

Now if I can just convince my wife that I really need a CZ52 for my birthday that's coming up in three weeks.
 
my dad built me a rifle rack for Christmas. totally surprised me. I'll have to pick up a stud finder tomorrow, because with 5 rifles on it, this thing is *heavy*. he thoughtfully didn't drill any nail holes, since I live in such an old house that the studs probably aren't centered at 16". it'll get mounted tomorrow. now, of course, I need more milsurps, since the AK and PSL look out of place. :p

I received a Remington 700 adl in 30-06 from my parents for christmas. My dad found it for a really good deal at Wal-Mart for $279 clearance. Tommorow I will take some of my christmas money and equip it with some optics.

My brother and I (we live very near each other) got a MEC shotshell reloader.
$50 gift card from Gander Mtn. from the in-laws.
 
Santa stiffed me on gun stuff. Thats what I get for being naughty I guess. Since I am the only gunnie in the family on the 20th I ordered myself a FN P35 from CDNN. Glad I did, I read in another thread that they sold out shortly after that. Happy new year every one!
 
I got Dave McCulloch's book, 1776, as well as a hand forged hand axe.
 
Everything I got was gun or knife related. My wife is the greatest :D

  • I got my Rock River AR15 Lower NM receiver Friday because I had found one I was going to go buy Saturday :rolleyes:
  • My wife got me everything to replace the locking mainspring housing on my Springfield
  • I got "The Colt 45 Automatic" Shop Manual by Jerry Kuhnhausen
  • A Ed Brown Trigger (Which is on backorder)
  • A Diamond type honing stone
  • Everything I need to reload 1000 rounds of 45. Primers, powder, and Winchester bullets.
  • A inertia bullet puller
 
Mom got me 300 rounds of WWB .45 , subscribtions to 4 gun magazines, and season 4 of "24" on dvd.

Girlfriend got me some new mags for my Kimber, seasons one through three of The Shield on dvd, and a nice big bottle of Crown Royal Special Reserve.

I got her a membership in the NRA.
 
CHRISTMAS "GUN" PRESENTS, THE SHORT LIST...

Short list but some of the kinda' stuff I'd never get around to buying for myself: (#1) hands-free head set magnifying glasses for "funsmithing," etc., (#2) large (24" X 13") aluminum hard-case with double combination locks for my one .22rf Fiala 3-barrel set with shoulder stock that didn't have an original carrying case, and finally, (#3) small, soft, portable, 3-gun pistol stand for display or range use (instead of laying guns on a pistol rug). Love the big hard-case. Makes a nice home for the old Fiala but also handy for carrying a number of handguns, ammo, binocs, etc. to the range. BUT THE BEST PRESENT, was that our youngest daughter graduated a few days before Christmas as an Aerospace Engineer from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University here in Daytona. You guys are something lucky, let me tell ya!

After years of silly stuff, I made out a Christmas list for my parents - just like when I was a kid.

I rec'd a box of 9mm FMJ, 45acp FMJ, and a box of .223 FMJ. The list plainly stated, "One box or MORE"

They opted for the former rather than the latter. That's my folks. :rolleyes:

I did get an authentic Steelers t-shirt bought in Pittsburgh, though. That makes up for a lot!!
 
I didn't recieve anything, however, my 7yr old son recieved a 22cal Cricket rifle, and a pair of binoculers!!!:what:
He has been good all year and Santa was generous!:D

What Did You Get For Christmas? (Gun Related)

I'm suprised no one has done this yet. Its time to brag about what gun or gun related items you got for Christmas. Me? My SO doesnt do the gun thing. So it was a complete suprise to get a M3 streamlight. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday.:)

Already sent to Hunter Customs for a 10mm conversion, along with some other minor changes - fiber optic front site, EGW FPS, spring changes, mags & recoil & mainspring [Wolff].

Can't wait!

For myself? Nothing. However... dear old dad was treated to a Marlin 917VSF in .17HMR, Millet rings (for a Tasco EXP we had laying around NIB) four boxes of assorted brands of ammunition, (Winchester, Remington, Hornady and Federal) a shooting bench, hard case and a promised road trip for ground squirrels/prarie dogs.

Gotta get it mounted and boresighted this week, range tested soon and ready to zap varmints by mid January.

I bought my Dad the complete TV series "Combat" on DVD. I remembered it was his favorite show when I was a kid.

The better half gave me a Geiselle trigger for my Service Rifle and permission to order a 04 takedown carbine from Wild West Guns when they become available.

Oh....almost forgot, socks and underwear:rolleyes:

Santa brought me a new KD holster for my Seecamp...I love it, and a bottle of Hoppes #9.
My brother who visited for Chrismas brought his Glock 17 and about 600 rounds of ammo for us to use cause "He doesn't shoot much anymore".

Everyone have a safe new years :)
