Shooting in the air?
I remember him saying it's a double barrel

As the old joke goes, it was a Union brand shotgun........ it doesn't work and you can't fire it.
Probably not what he would choose.Did Hi Point ever make a shotgun?
Lots of ridicule directed at Sleepy’s “recommendation” for defense being directed towards the guns themselves.

In truth, a well set up double-barreled side-by-side 12-gauge break-open shotgun in properly trained hands is a highly effective close range weapon. Cowboy action shooters know how to run these guns and the firepower they can generate with the “antique blunderbuss” might surprise most whippersnappers who think you need to own an automatic terminator shotgun or an M16 as a house gun. Not so.

I’d rather have this guy and a belt of buck by my side vs most mall ninjas and instaclowns waving their unfired Benelli or Mossberg around that they only own because they saw it in a video game and never spent a day in training in their life.
If one plays any of the WW2-themed Call of Duty or Battlefield games, you can pick up the identification and fundamental operation of most small arms of that era, including the fine points of stripper and enbloc clips, what gun takes which ammo, magazine capacity, charging handle location, etc.Funny you should mention video games. I learned a lot from video games, being only 21. I learned various methods of reloading a shotgun, to keep it relevant. I learned what goes where, and how to do it. All I did was replicate what they did and it's worked out for me. Learned about ballistics from Battlefield , how to calculate bullet drop , distance. I learned situational awareness from Rainbow Six Siege, as well as communications. If I say "breach at western stairs, north window", people know what that means.
