+1, except my reloading equipment is in the spare bedroom upstairs. The bullets themselves are generally just quality JHPs that shoot well. I guess I could probably make up a fancy name for 'em..........
.45 Colt is 250 gr LSWC over 9 grains of Unique.
9mm is Winchester Talon 127 gr. +P+
.32 ACP is Buffalo Bore LRN +P
.30 Mauser is 90 gr Hornady XTP JHP over 5.9 grains of Unique.
.38 Specials: 158 grain soft lead SWCHP, 4.5 grains of American Select powder, Federal (usually) SP primer.
I carry Fiocchi 125 grain +P XTP's in a speed strip for a reload.
When I carry a CZ-82 (not very often) it's loaded with Silver Bear 9x18 hollow points.
Both my carry guns are 9mm. They are both loaded with standard pressure 124gr JHP.
G19 Gen 4: Hornady TAP FPD. I really like how little flash I get out of this and how it chronnied exactly where it was supposed to. I have seen several tests and out of 3.5" barrels and longer, it penetrates very well and expands with 100% reliability.
S&W M&P Shield 9: Remington Golder Sabers. This was my go-to 9mm round until I found the TAP. I kept this for the Shield because it has a shorter barrel and generates a little less velocity. I want to give my round every advantage out of a short barrel so I go with the Golden Sabers because they have a BIG HOLE and expansion is pretty much garunteed.
I generally carry the G19 on cooler days/months, when the extra penetration of the TAP is prefered. I carry the Shield on the hotter days when the most I should need to shoot through is a T-shirt.
