What semi-auto pistol do you shoot best?

For fun, a 1911. For getting hits quickly coming out of a holster, Glock 17 or 19. I can do it with a 1911 too, but not as fast and I run out of bangs quicker.

My favorite to shoot is a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm.
My on body carry is a Sig Sauer C3 1911.
My EDC work/get home bag holds a Ruger SR9e with 2 extra magazines. Always flawless and very accurate for a cheap gun.

I am mostly a revolver guy, but I shoot my Ruger SR9c the best of my 5 or 6 semi autos

The semi-auto I shoot most accurately is my Glock 17L.

The Glock 17L is very soft-shooting, it is a long slide and the mass out front makes recoil negligible. It's polymer framed so it ends up being a fairly light pistol over all. I put a trigger kit in it and only use it for bullseye shooting.

Almost certainly this 1911:

I think I've put new grips on her, so I probably need to take a new picture.

Target shooting? 10” Ruger Mk 4 .22 with a red dot.

For carry? Smith and Wesson 6904, my carry gun. Gets range time every time I go and sometimes in the yard in the evenings.

For straight up accuracy and familiarity., either would be the favorite depending on the situation

I have been shooting 1911 series pistols since 1964 but as this is written I've accumulated substantial experience with S&W MP9 series.

Probably my 1911A1.
I don't shoot much paper after I check up on the sights and accuracy of a new/used gun acquisition. Mostly steel and empty cans after that, and mostly inside 25 yards.
I do love to see the look on others faces when I can manage to ring the 100 yard plate with a Heritage Rough Rider though.

Center fire: my friends 1911 Combat Commander, that single stage trigger and ergonomics are perfect for me.
Rimfire: My Beretta Neos, far more accurate than I can shoot.

At a pretty long distance my bone stock sig 320 ain’t bad. Haven’t got to shoot it since New sights and different grip module 4407C7FD-3040-4927-80BF-77A7BF50A252.jpeg
