what to do now about pistol brace situation?

A summary of the video would be helpful.
Feel free to summarize it. :)

One point I felt was important was that while yes, members of the various organizations are now presumably covered by the injunctions, that does not prevent local authorities from arresting people who draw attention to the fact that they are not complying, and while such people may get these charges dismissed in the end, accomplishing this will require running up serious legal fees for which they cannot expect to be reimbursed.

I still recommend watching the whole thing.

Isn't it "funny" how the ATF can make up rules as they go along that apply to the whole USA while an actual legal ruling by a court only applies to those who are part of the lawsuit? I'm sure there is some legal reason but gotta love those gov't double standards!

I truly envy the cohesiveness and selective outrage of the Left sometimes. If this were their issue, I have the feeling there would be mass protests until they got their way. Us? Well, guess I better comply... :D

IANAL, it seem he is saying an injunction does not keep you from being arrested for a braced-pistol/SBR. You can still be arrested and are still going to rack up substantially legal cost even if the injunction ultimately protects you.

IMHO AR's are too easily reconfigured. Reconfigured to a legal config and config back after these legal cases are settled.

One problem that some of us have is checking the site from work, which restricts us from watching any videos, be it YouTube, Rumble or anything other than LinkedIn. Having said that, I might have phrased it differently, or just waited until I got home. :)
Thank you for posting this, ma'am.

Well, considering there have been three injunctions granted and that courts do not grant injunctions unless they think the plaintiffs are going to win on the merits, not to mention the Chevron deference suit in SCOTUS, IMHO the ATF is going to get smacked, and pretty hard. I, for one, am glad I did not register any firearms as SBRs unnecessarily.

I figure it's a win win, after it gets slapped down I can put a $15 MOE stock on it and sell the brace.

Just don't travel out of state without permission, or move to a state that doesn't allow SBRs, or ...

Also, I believe that you cannot reconfigure it and still be legal although I could be wrong on this last point. It has been reported that this is the case.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

Right from the ATF website Screenshot_20230604-175757.png
It's also only an SBR when it's in SBR configuration so you could put a bare pistol tube on it and it's a pistol or put a 16"+ barrel on it and it's a rifle. You really only need to notify about a change in barrel and OAL if you were to get rid of the barrel caliber/length combo and can't put it back to registered configuration.

That's the great thing about having a SBRed AR lower you can have a 8" 300 BO, a 9" 22, a 10" 350 Legend and a 12" 5.56 for one lower.
