For a while now I have been looking for a "concealment style" holster for my 586.

I just couldn't find what I was wanted. So I fired up the toaster oven, grabbed my masking tape, organized my hardware, and made myself one.

I used it at an idpa match, and while it is far from my finest work, it functioned exactly how I was hoping.

I'll be making more for different things now for sure

Same, Kydex is easy to work with, even for a beginner.

My first attempt at a left handed pocket holster for my LCP may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but it works well and seems to be holding up.

OP, nice job!

I'm finding kydex to be really easy. I even slapped together a couple of knife sheaths while I was at it

Nice job!

Easy to make, cost effective, totally functional, and does what you want it to do; that's a great thing to have these days!

Nice job. Is that a pager on the other side? 😁

Nice job on yours as well. Yes Kydex is very easy to work with, and not expensive. Handy stuff. I've used it to replace the old car's pitted console cover because the Kydex texture perfectly matches the dash

A pager?! Hahaha

I was around for pagers but I wasn't old enough to be dialing phones quite yet...
