What to store in my stock?

So my POF P-308 has been wearing a FAB Defense AR15 stock for a while now- its comfy and hugs the buffer tube close enough to allow the charging handle a full run, unlike the Magpul and LuthAR stock I'd tried previously. I really love this stock, but.....

The FAB unit features a well for a 10 round emergency magazine, but of course wont accommodate a .308 mag, so I cut down an old 20-round .223 box with buggered feed lips to make a small storage compartment:

It fits fine, no rattles, though its not waterproof or anything. Of course, I can put whatever goes in there in a baggie.
Now, I already keep an oiler and pair of allen wrenches (for the scope mount) in the pistol grip. I was thinking of a spare bolt, but dont know if POF will even sell one- but it wouldn't fit in the stock anyway.
Maybe just a firing pin?
The scope doesn't have an illuminated reticle, so no need for batteries. Might be able to squeeze a few loose .308 rounds in there....any other suggestions?

Did you have a Gen 3 MagPul PRS stock or the Gen 2 that was specific for large frame AR's?

MagPul made two versions of the Gen 1 and Gen 2 PRS stock. One version was for the AR15 and the other was for large frame AR rifles. The one designed for the AR15 would not work on large frame Ar's since the charging handles would hit the cheek riser. MagPul updated things with the Gen 3 PRS so that it works on all AR rifles.

I have never tried one of the Luth-AR stocks on my PSA PA10 so can't comment on them. I really don't care for the Luth-AR stocks and only use them on my AR22 builds.

Im sure that was the issue, PRS 1 IIRC.
The gun actually came with a LuthAr fully adjustable stock. I dunno how the previous owner ever actually charged the gun-even with the cheek riser all the way down, it would foul the CH. Its on my .223 DMR now, and I notched the riser for clearance. Its a decent stock, I like it well enough on that gun.

I’d go with a couple of prophylactics and a pack of Pall Malls.

From the days of the XM177, these telescoping stocks have always been kludge jobs, IMO. (That's true even after they became the de facto standard.)

Get a fixed stock with a proper storage compartment.

I considered a fixed stock, but this one was free and it fits me well.

And they ruined cars as soon as they started using electronic ignition, too...ammirite?

Well, the thousands of Ford HEI owners who had to walk to back to civilization would have agreed. Before cell phones of course and roadside assistance, of course. Lol.

Only thing I usually stick in a firearm storage pocket is earplugs. And maybe a spare battery or two if the firearm has an electronic optic.
I actually cant wear (foam) earplugs, or at least they dont do me any good- one of my ear canals is oddly shaped and they pop out when they expand. I suppose I could throw a pair of the rubber lanyard type in there, thats a good idea.

pep pills, sleeping pills tranquilizer pills … $100 in rubles, $100 in gold, nine packs of chewing gum, one issue of prophylactics, three lipsticks, three pair of nylon stockings.
Uhhh, for bartering, right.....? o_O

Ammo will work just as well in that situation, or bottlecaps. :D

I think Im going with a firing pin (assuming I can source one), a flat blade miniscrewdriver, earplugs, and maybe some q-tips all wrapped in paracord, in a baggie.

Some excellent (and funny) ideas, thanks you cheeky lot. :p

I'm also not a fan of empty space. Things need to either take up the minimum space or hold things.
My first plan is stuff for the gun. Batteries, parts, or cleaning.
For instance, my AK came with Magpul MOE stock and grip. Between those and the cleaning rod, I have everything included to keep the gun cleaned and running for a time, barring some bizarre failure.
So I vote a tiny bottle of CLP and a boresnake or patch puller, for starters.
