What Tulammo works for you?

I'm really sorry that the stuff isn't relable in my p3at..........shoots really tight groups with the .380 but ignition is iffy. Maybe ten to fifteen ftfs in a box......hard primers!! Hell of it is that it'l easily outshoot either WW or Fed.!

I have used the Tula 154grn soft points for pig popping and maybe out of 300 rounds total fired in SKS, AK, and AR 7.62x39 I have had a total of 10?? primers that did not ignite on the first attempt. All fired on the second go. I like the hard hitting round for 150 yards or less pig popping.

Hot shot bad!!!

I have and do use lot of Tulammo and have had very few problems. We have had lots of problems with HOTSHOT ammo.....stay away from this stuff. The 5.56 had nothing but blown primers and had on customer come with his 770. 300 winmag, blown to hell, blown mag broken stock and FP. I now have a case of the stuff that I have to pull the bullets on.

I shoot the Wally World 7.62 x 39 Tula in my SKS and have never had one issue. Goes bang every single time. At $4.95 per box of 20 it is hard to find anything else that cheap and reliable. I have some brass cases to reload but I haven't done it since I can shoot the Tula for so cheap.

Tula ammo

I have fired hundreds and hundreds of Tula ammo in .45, 9mm, .380 and .223 through many various guns, its my "go to" ammo to function test anything I buy or trade for, I have NEVER had a single round of Tula in any of the calibers I shoot go "click" instead of BANG!
I also have never seen a failure to discharge with Tula ammo with any of my friends that use it either, this whole thread of Tula having hard primers, etc. is all news to me.
Tula is the DIRTIEST ammo I have ever used, but I dont care, I only use it for function testing new guns and new mags, I am going to clean them top to bottom inside and out as soon as I get home from the range anyway, and as others have said, accuracy is actually pretty good with Tula, at least in my experience.
For the price, even though it is dirty and at least in some peoples experience, not 100% reliable, its fine for the range use, just make sure your defensive mags are loaded up with something higher quality.

I have. But they had good primer hits and wouldn't go bang in anything. Sooner or later, you'll get a bad primer with any brand.

I have put somewhere around 1000 - 1500 round of .40 Tula through my XD's with zero problems. Can't beat $12 a box for .40. I say as long as it's not damaging my gun, I'll run it.

My XD9 ate 100/100 rounds a couple months back. With the closest Wal-Mart having overflowing ammo shelves, I am sticking with WWB value packs with a negligible price difference to keep the brass.
