What type/size bag do you carry to the line with your gun "stuff", i.e. ammo, magazines, glasses, cleaning supplies, sunscreen, waterbottle, etc? Currently, I'm using a small canvas tool bag, but need suggestions for a medium size bag. My normal range bag is too large. Thanks

I found the perfect bag at a garage sale. A camera bag! Has lots of pockets and spaces inside for lenses etc. I can carry an amazing amount of stuff and still keep it organized.

I have a couple that I use for different purposes.

My usual range bag for matches or training is an iShot Pro Shooters Bag. It comfortably holds two pistols, 500+ rounds of 9mm ammo in freezer bags, and all the rest of the shooting gear I need.

For some matches in which I'm wearing my gun and don't need to carry as much stuff, I have a little Camelbak day pack, don't recall the model. Holds enough water, food, and ammo for 3-4 average stages.

I'm presently looking at a Eberlestock Phantom for a hold-all multigun pack - something to carry two long guns, ammo for an entire match, etc.

I hate carts.

If I'm just doing pistol I don't need the cart or the long guns.

One bag for ammo, shooting bags, magazines, spotting scope. Another separate cleaning case with everythin I need to clean, Bore snakes patches rods, oil, tools, knifes, Hopps#9, rags, brushes, mops, bore light, etc... One bag for each handgun and rifle. I normally pull the car up to the bench to unload then park.

Normal range session includes at lease 3-4 rifles & 2-4 hand guns each saturdays. 4-6 hours at the range is a normal day.

Guess I have been shooting indoors to long I only carry a Gun-Ho gun box every thing I need fits into it just nicely. Mine is a 3 gun box.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was at Lowes in the tool section and found a nice 16" AWP canvas large mouth tool bag on sale for $16.00. Perfect size with enough pockets and compartments.

Shooters Connection Range Bag - the original. There are several knockoffs out there with surprisingly "American" names on them but there is only one original and none of the copies from China or Vietnam are sewn as good as the original.

Take Care

Bob
